Last night we went out for Chinse food and I had to drive separately since I had to work right after. In the two years I’ve owned my car I have never known how to turn on the car alarm.
After we finished eating I got into my car. My mom came over to say goodbye to me, but I’d already shut my door. I grabbed the handle to open it and all of a sudden the car alarm goes off. It was the first time I’d ever heard it. My mom hadn’t touched the car or anything. It went off because I was trying to get out. Then I had to figure out how to turn it off, which I had no idea how to do. I started pushing random buttons inside the car and then pushed the buttons on my key. That worked.
It was just so strange. The alarm went off as I got out of the car.

My new car has a car alarm, too. You now reminded me to figure out how to work it.
Huh, interesting concept. It’s just odd that my car alarm randomly went off after two years of getting in and out of it.
