One More Week At This School… May 9, 2008

Well, the end is almost here.  The title for this post comes from a song my bro found online about Harry Potter.  It goes ‘One more year at this school, I’m still learning, one more year…’  So I thought it was appropriate.  Anyway, this time next week I will be done with classes.  It feels kind of strange because I’ve been at this school for the past two years of my life.  It’s where I did a lot of growing up.  When I graduated high school I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and I was not ready to leave home.  Over the past two years I’ve decided I want to major in psychology, become an elementary school, and I got my first job.  I also feel ready to go away to school.

I have a major case of senioritis now.  I just don’t want to do anything.  Luckily, most of the papers and work has been completed.  I do have to finish my sociology paper, but I’m putting it off until the last minute.  Then there’s calculus.  The fourth test is on Wednesday and we have to get through three more sections before then.  That’s not going to happen considering there are only two more classes before that.  Then there’s the final exam on May 20th.  That’s going to be horrible.  I’m just glad I finished my note sheets for my history exam (he lets us bring in 5 pages of notes, front and back) a couple days ago.  I probably spent about 15 hours on that all together.

Tomorrow I’m going up to my next college to schedule classes and for orientation.  It’s a bit strange scheduling classes there when I’m not completely done at my current school.  It’s like I’m a student at two colleges.  I’ll just be happy when next week is over.  Then I get to have three months off from school, which will be awesome.
